Programme Associate (Shanghai)
Function:
• Assist Shanghai Conservation Programme and ensure that appropriate office administration and basic financial support is provided to Shanghai Office;
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain and guarantee good operation of all office facilities (fax machine, printers, Projects, computer, Lan net, vehicle etc.);
• Contact Shanghai provincial FESCO for Shanghai office staff welfare;
• Conduct purchase task relating to Shanghai Office;
• Basic financial management to Shanghai Office;
• Support other team members to coordinate the database management system and collect the information such as video, slides, photos and newspapers;
• Assist to organize workshop of Shanghai Conservation Programme;
• Assist programme communication activities associating to Shanghai Office.
• Maintains good relationships with WWF Network and external donors, in order to achieve the Programme goals, and actively encourage their continued interest in supporting WWF China.
• Assist other team members of Shanghai Office with logistic arrangements whenever activities and campaigns carried out by Shanghai office;
• Assist programme staffs of Shanghai Office for better implementation of conservation activities if necessary
• Lead and organize volunteer activities to support projects implementation
• Support team members to translate general material
• Perform other tasks allocated by Head of Shanghai Conservation Programme.
Working Relationship:
1. Internal: Report to Head of Shanghai Conservation Programme. Regularly contact with other staff of Yangtze Programme, with staff in Financial, Administration Department.
2. External: Maintain good relationship with donors, partners, and stakeholders. i.e. WWF-UK, WWF-NL, WWF-US, NGOs, third parties.
Qualifications:
• At least Bachelor Degree;
• A high degree of personal integrity and commitment to conservation;
• Good and experienced coordination,communication and presentation skills;
• Fluent speaking and writing in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Ability for teamwork and partnership development.
• Finance background and Driver license is preferable;
