Low Carbon Lifestyle Campaign



20 Ways to 20%

WWF has been promoting low-carbon and green lifestyles in China for the past a few years. Between 2007 and 2010, WWF and the HSBC Climate Partnership have run the “20 Ways To 20%" campaign. The campaign engages with the public on energy conservation issues in communities, schools and universities – as well as through the Internet. Millions of people have participated in the campaign over the past three and a half years. Read more »

Earth Hour

In 2009, China took part in the WWF-initiated global Earth Hour campaign for the first time. The lights of iconic buildings in 33 Chinese including Shanghai, Chengdu and Nanjing went off for Earth Hour 2010. Millions of people and scores of companies and community groups showed that they are willing to tackle climate change through Earth Hour. Read More »
